What is IGTGolf Aptitude Statistics?
IGTGolf Aptitude Statistics is a golf game improvement system which includes the most powerful golf stats recording and analysis system. (See example below).
It will be used by golfers of all standards from scratch golfers to high handicap golfers on the IGTGolf Tour.

How does it work?
IGTGolf Aptitude Statistics is available to IGTGolf members and can be used with any internet connected computer, anywhere in the world. No additional software is required. All your IGTGolf tournament rounds, shot by shot are captured by the IGTGolf Tournament software at every tournament played on the tour. We do all the work for you!
Then analyze and compare your golf stats using the powerful IGTGolf Statistics area. Compare your stats against any division’s averages or compare your golf statistics with other IGTGolf members. Everyone on the IGTGolf Tour uses exactly the same system from male golfers, female golfers, low, medium, high handicappers and professionals for all IGTGolf divisions.

Statistics Definition Rounds
The number of rounds from which the statistics are derived
Stroke Average Gross
The average number of shots taken per round. As an example, you play two rounds of golf in scores of 78 and 76. Your "Gross Stroke Average" for the two rounds is 77.
Stroke Average Nett
The average number of shots taken per round. As an example, you play two rounds of golf in scores of 78 and 76. Your handicap in both rounds was 5. Your "Nett Stroke Average" for the two rounds is 72.
Ave Course Par
The average Par of courses played. As an example, you play one course which has a Par of 72 and, another course which has a Par of 71. The "Ave Course Par" for the two courses is 71.50.
Ave under/over handicap
A minus figure is playing better than your handicap and a plus figure is playing worse than your handicap.
Ave Course / Hole Length
The average length of courses or holes played. As an example, you play one course which is 6,500 meters in length and, another course which is 6,800 meters in length. The "Ave Course Length" for the two courses is 6,650 meters.
Hole Scores
The average number of eagles, birdies, pars, bogeys or others scores made per round (also displayed as a percentage). As an example, you play four Par 5 holes. Your scoring sequence over the four holes is birdie -- par -- par -- bogey. By scoring one birdie, your "Par 5 Birdies" for the four holes is 25%. By scoring two pars, your "Par 5 Pars" for the four holes is 50% and, by scoring one bogey, your "Par 5 Bogeys" for the four holes is 25%.
Handicap Average
Your average handicap per tournament played over a number of tournaments. As an example in tournament 1 your handicap was 7 and in tournament 2 your handicap was 6. Your average handicap for the 2 tournaments is 6.5

Holes
The number of holes from which the statistics are derived
Stroke Average
The average number of shots taken per hole. As an example, you play four Par 3 holes. Your scoring sequence over the four holes is 3 – 4 – 4 - 3. Your average for par 3 holes is 3.5
Ave Hole Length
The average length of holes played. As an example, you play one course which is four par 3 holes – 155 – 174 – 180 – 192 meters in length. The "Ave hole Length" for the par 3 holes is 175.25 meters.
Nett Birdies – Nett Pars – Nett Bogeys - Others
The average number of eagles, birdies, pars, bogeys (Nett) or others scores made per round per par 3, par 4 and par 5(also displayed as a percentage). As an example, you play four Par 3 holes and your handicap is 8. Your scoring sequence over the four holes is; 4 stroke 8 – 3 stroke 15 – 4 stroke 12 and 2 stroke 18. Your nett score over the four holes is; 3 – 3 – 4 and 2. By scoring one birdie, your "Par 3 Birdies" for the four holes is 25%. By scoring two pars, your "Par 3 Pars" for the four holes is 50% and, by scoring one bogey, your "Par 3 Bogeys" for the four holes is 25%. Greens in Reg; Par 3 – Par 4 – Par 5
The average number of times the ball finishes either in the hole or, on the green (of the hole being played), in two or more shots lower than the par of the hole (also displayed as a percentage). So, if your ball finishes on the green in one shot on a Par 3 hole, two or less shots on a Par 4 hole, three or less shots on a Par 5 hole you are deemed to have hit the green in regulation. As an example, you play a round of golf. On two of the four par 3 holes, your ball finishes on the green in the regulation number of shots. Your "Greens in Reg" for the par 3 holes is 50%
Driving Accuracy
The percentage of times the first shot on a hole finishes either in the hole, on the green, on the fringe or, on the fairway (of the hole being played). Par 3 holes are not included. As an example, you play a round of golf on a course with four Par 3 holes, ten Par 4 holes and four Par 5 holes. On the fourteen Par 4 and Par 5 holes, your first shot finishes on the fairway a total of seven times. Your "Driving Accuracy" for the round is 50%.
Greens in Reg
The average number of times the ball finishes either in the hole or, on the green (of the hole being played), in two or more shots lower than the par of the hole (also displayed as a percentage). So, if your ball finishes on the green in one shot on a Par 3 hole, two or less shots on a Par 4 hole, three or less shots on a Par 5 hole you are deemed to have hit the green in regulation. As an example, you play a round of golf. On sixteen of the eighteen holes, your ball finishes on the green in the regulation number of shots. Your "Greens in Reg" for the round is 88.9%.
Penalty Shots per Round
The average number of incurred penalty shots per round. As an example, you play two rounds of golf. In the first round, you incur a penalty for being late on the first tee and, a penalty for dropping from an unplayable lie on the third hole. In the second round, on the ninth hole, you lose a ball incurring a stroke and distance penalty shot. Your penalties for the two rounds are 1.5.
Scrambling
The percentage of times the green is missed in regulation, but a nett par or nett birdie is still scored. As an example, you play four holes of golf. On the first and second hole, you do not hit the green in regulation but still manage to score a net par on each hole. On the third and fourth holes, again you do not hit the green in regulation but this time, you go on to make a net bogey on each hole. Your "Scrambling" for the four holes is 50.0%. Nett score example; par 4 stroke 7 and your handicap is 8 you make a five, your nett score is a par 4 or par 4 stroke 7 and your handicap is 5 you make a five, your nett score is a bogey 5.
Sand Saves
The percentage of times (upon the ball finishing in a greenside bunker for the first time on a hole) that the ball finishes in the hole within two shots. As an example, during a round of golf, on three different holes, your ball finishes in a greenside bunker. On two of the holes, from the greenside bunker, you manage to complete the hole within two shots but, on the other hole, from the greenside bunker, you fail to complete the hole within two shots. Your "Sand Saves" for the round is 66.7%.
Putts per Round
The average number of putts taken per round.
Putts per Green in Reg
The average number of putts taken per green hit in regulation. As an example, you play four holes and hit the green in regulation on three of them. On the three holes where you hit the green in regulation, you take a one putt, a two putt and a three putt to complete the holes. Your "Putts per Green in Reg" for the three holes that count is 2.00.
Bounce Backs
The percentage of times a nett birdie or better score is made on a hole following a bogey or worse score (taking into account both the start hole for the round and, the end hole where a bogey or worse score is excluded because there is no subsequent hole to make the bounce back). As an example, you play six holes of golf. Your scoring sequence over the six holes is bogey – nett birdie -- bogey – nett par -- bogey – nett birdie. On the three counting holes immediately after making a bogey or worse score, you make a nett birdie or better score twice. Your "Bounce Backs" for the six holes is 66.7%. Nett birdie example; Par 4 stroke 7 and your handicap are 8 and you make a 4. This is a nett birdie. Par 4 stroke 7 and your handicap are 5 and you make a 3. This is a nett birdie.
Score to Par after Birdie or better
The average score to Par on the hole following a nett birdie or better score (taking into account both the start hole for the round and, the end hole where a birdie or better score is excluded because there is no subsequent hole to play). As an example, you play six holes of golf. Your scoring sequence over the six holes is nett birdie – nett par -- bogey – nett birdie -- bogey – nett birdie. On the two counting holes immediately after making a birdie or better score, you score a par and a bogey. Your "To Par after Birdie & better" for the six holes is 0.50 shots over nett par per attempt. Nett par example; Par 4 stroke 7 and your handicap are 8 and you make a 5. This is a nett par. Par 4 stroke 7 and your handicap are 5 and you make a 4. This is a nett par.
Score to Par after Bogey or worse
The average score to Par on the hole following a bogey or worse score (taking into account both the start hole for the round and, the end hole where a bogey or worse score is excluded because there is no subsequent hole to play). As an example, you play six holes of golf. Your scoring sequence over the six holes is bogey – net par -- bogey – net birdie -- bogey – net birdie. On the three counting holes immediately after making a bogey or worse score, you score a net par and two net birdies. Your "To Par after Bogey & worse" for the six holes is -0.67 shots under par per attempt.
Lowest / Highest Round Score
The player's lowest and highest individual round scores.
Rounds under Handicap
The number of rounds the player has played better than his handicap.
Rounds Level Handicap
The number of rounds the player has played to his handicap.
Rounds over Handicap
The number of rounds the player has played worse than his handicap.
Points per Round
The average number of points earned per round using the following points to score ratio:
Albatross or better
Eagle = 5 points stroke & 4 points no stroke
Birdie = 4 points stroke & 3 points no stroke
Par = 3 points stroke & 2 points no stroke
Bogey = 2 points stroke & 1 points no stroke
Double Bogey or worse = 1 points stroke & 0 points no stroke
Stroke = your handicap is equal or higher than the stroke on the hole.
First / Middle / Last 6 Holes to Par
A player's average gross score to Par either on the first 6, middle 6 or last 6 holes (taking into account the start hole for the round). As an example, you play the first six holes of a round of golf. Your scoring sequence over the six holes is bogey -- par -- par -- birdie -- par -- birdie. Your "First 6 Holes to Par" for the round is -1.00.
